AIHA Registry Programs promote the recognition of individuals who have demonstrated competency in a specialized area of industrial/occupational hygiene practice. These programs encourage individuals to keep their skills and knowledge current by demonstrating competency through recurring assessment. The SDS and Label Authoring Registry program recognizes chemical hazard communication and environmental health professionals who specialize in authoring Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Labels. The SDS and Label Authoring Registry was developed through a partnership with the Society for Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC) and is the first and only credential in this area of practice.
